Instructional Routine: rubric for grading, sytematic/routine use, getting/managing student access
An instructional routine would be to establish an etiquette for videoconferencing, a specific rubric for each type of videoconferencing that you are using, choose the purpose of the videoconference, whether it be to track an explorer, a student to student book talk, interviewing an author or any subject expert.
Issues/Barriers- Potential solutions:
Barriers are making sure the connectivity is set up correctly. Ensuring that you are collaborating with the conferencer, ensuring time changes are taken into account, preparing for students behaviors during the learning, ensuring real interactive high level opportunities.
